Whats up fellas, to all you gsr owners out there: anybody have the thermal 3' cat-back for their gsr? if so, id like to get some sound clips for it. Thinkin about the thermal for my 2000 gsr, just want to know what kind of tone im gettin on a N/A motor, if anybody has any, e-mail them to me at rehanyounas@hotmail.com,

why 3"? thats gonna be way to big for n/a, your not gonna have enough back pressure. Stick to 2.5" at the most

I dont' think you understand how loud it really is. Its like 3 times as loud as a motorcycle, at least. And its not a good loud, its a **** loud.

And, like the other person said, it'll hurt your power, not help it. 2.5" is all you need for a built motor. 2.25" for a stock motor with bolt ons.

3" is ok for turbo, but NOT NA. Turbos actually quiet down your exhaust quite a bit.

yea it sounds like crap on a n/a car, my freind has one on his DA and i have one on my turbo db2 and there is a whole worlds diff in the sound, his sounds like a loud bumble bee and mine sounds very quiet

i am plannin on boostin soon, my gsr has about 40k on it, pretty mint, i bought it for 12k and all it had was skunk2 springs, haven't done much except for aem cai, wanted to go with the thermal cause i figured why not just buy an exhaust only once, but oh well. oh and if u guys haven't, then check em out, http://www.centralfloridaturbo.com

well if u are planning on boostin it get the exhaust but dont put it on till u go turbo

Thermal r&d is a good 3" exhaust. If you plan on boosting, i would get it. Its a low tone and isnt really that loud because the turbo muffles alot of it. NA would be a different story.

If you are in the market for one, i have one that i might sell.

thermal also makes the r&d classic in a 2.5" piping i think. It has an awesome deep tone and would perform on your exhaust better at where you are now. If you are positive you are going to go turbo, then just buy it and put it on the same time you put your turbo on.
