Default TEIN HA install

What do you guys think installing the TIEN type HA on a integra would cost? I have the lower control arms too. I got some quotes on the install and they range from 70~350 bucks depending on where you go! any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Since it's only a simple strut removal and replacement, it should take no longer than 45 minutes to an hour's labor...hour and a half at most. As long as you have an impact wrench handy, it's a really simple procedure.

It's really not that hard of an installation. I would say a shop can do it in an hour and you could do it in 2 hours with impact wrench 3 hours without.

$70 to $100 is about a fair price. Are they already assembled? If so, it won't take that long at all at a shop with power tools.

an hour the most, i guess shops usually charge more for coilovers cause they have to adjust the height after, not like springs and shocks you don't have to adjust anything

I will take a shop more than 1 hour. THey will have to compress the springs and reuse the suspension caps. Figure about 2 hours as a good time frame.

I didn't remember to think about that. But, if you get the optional pillowball mounts, then you wouldn't have to remove and reuse the spring hats.

so you guys don't think that installing the LCA's along with the coilovers wouldn't be that hard for a shop to install??

LOL. It's not supposed to be marathon sport fool. Heh.

As a reference point for comparison, I can have the front coilover assemblies laid out in pieces in less than 30 minutes if I have the proper tools. It's even less time for the rear.

Putting it back together gets kinda uncertain b/c I can't always get the rear, outer LCA bolt lined up and threaded the first time. Same thing with the front shock fork.

But, yes, it should be a quick and easy job. Wish I could fly out there and help you.

it should be a piece of cake for any shops that know Hondas. Unless your suspension is all rusted up and all the bolts are not comming out then it becomes pain in the butt
