Default Sway

Will a sway bar improve handling on a bone stock Gsr?

I plan on getting suspension later on but just need something for right now.
Are there any sway bars out there that just bolt on, or do I need to get the beaks kit. Is a itr sway bar that much better than any other company, what are some of the good sway bars on the market.

Tank you

You are asking a very vague question.

Yes, a sway bar will improve the handling of a stock Integra. But then again, any suspension upgrade will improve the handling of a STOCK Integra.

You have to realize that a stock Integra (or any stock car for that matter) is tuned from the factory for understeer. It is easier for the AVERAGE driver to drive when the car is tuned that way.

The BEST handling car should have about a 50% balance between understeer and oversteer. To do this on a STOCK Integra (not the Type R), you will want to upgrade the rear sway bar. This will stiffen up the rear end making the car more balanced.

If you are looking for a basic (cheap) but VERY VERY effective suspension modification, I highly recommend the ITR rear sway bar.

Pick it up from http://www.ahmotor.com along with the BSQ kit (all about $124) and the handling of your car will be improved tremendously.

Most people say the ITR sway bar is the single most effective/best suspension mod they ever did. I agree with them.

Oh, sorry. It's not on the site actually. You have to call their 1800 number and tell them you are interested in the Integra Type R sway bar kit. They'll know exactly what you're talking about. After that, all you need is the BSQ mounting kit for $20.

EDIT: It's $104 from http://www.ahmotor.com if you call them. When I ordered it, I got it shipped to my house in only 3 days or so. Contact HT user "BSQ" on this site for his kit. His Geocities site is constantly down because of too much traffic. But he's on this site, so you can PM him.
