which swap for TEG
Ok I have a problem, I modded my auto teg and dont want to sell it and buy one with a stick. Too many mods and I love the car. Which swap is easier keep in mind its also goin from auto to manual. the GSR swap would be complete engine and tranny prob from sohfast. The Ls would only be a tranny swap only. I know the difference between GSR and LS blocks and heads, I want to know from people who have done swaps and know whats real.
hmmm auto to manual isn't that much of a bitch but the main thing that is going to bite you in the *** is the clutch components (master cylinder, pedal, etc) and then the brake light wiring and such, also just lost of other little things. if you have decent mechanic and problem solving skills, and can follow just simple instructions you should be able to to the work yourself
on the other hand if you are "mechanically challenged" and don't want to deal with it, pay a GOOD shop to do the dirt work for ya

what mods do you have? i highly recomend just buying a new teg that has a MT. The engine and tranny swap can cost you in upwards of 6k if you have a shop do the installation..which i assume you will since you own a auto teg lol.
6k if I was swapping in a K motor or something... you should stay away from paint fumes and bad answers. Im not some bubble gummer and it says in the post, only want answers from people who have done the swap, just cuz you drive stick doesnt mean you know squat about stick shift trannnies or wiring.

They'll rip you a new one. Take all the parts off your car, sell it and buy a MT. Then replace the parts with your aftermarket ones. If you find a GSR, sell your parts here on HT and use money to buy GSR mods.
