swap question
ok so heres the deal. i own a 91 integra with a b18a1 and a 92 eg hatch. i am going to be swapping everything from the integra. following so far? well ive done tons and tons of research on the swap pretty much got 90% of the info i need except.. from what ive read the harness is interchange able, but i plan on taking the harness from the integra because the hatch has a jdm 1.5 liter and i was told the harness was reworked for that engine vs the stock engine that was in it?i so i plan on swapping my harness over as well. if i am wrong correct me but i think it will be the easiest way to do it so i know its right. but the big question is, the clutch system. the hatch is hydro, and the teg is cable... ive heard people swapping pedals around to go from a cable to hydro set up, can it be done the other way around. can i take my pedal assembly from my teg and swap it into the hatch so i can keep my cable set up? or do i need to get a hydro trans, or do they make a conversion? any and all advice will be apprecatied.

Use your civic harness. Plug it into the B18. Use a OBD1 LS ECU from a manual DC chassis integra.
Get a cable to hydro converter. It's this...weird vertical slave cylinder that actuates the cable style clutch fork.
For the money that you'll spend on that conversion....you can just about buy a hydro LS trans for $150-250. Or a GSR trans for $350-400ish.

thank you, but with the harness being "reworked for the 1.5" from what the PO told me. like right off the bat i know that the maf sensor plug on top of the throttle body. the plus is cut off and was told it wasnted needed for this engine becuase its got a d16 intake and throttle body? personally i am starting to thank this was just some frankenstien build. but idk enough about jdm engines to pretend i know what i am talking about
Arent the axle lengths also a different size between da and dc? If I were you id look for a hydro trans instead of getting the conversion kit. You will need a DC shift linkage though.
The eg harness unless it was tucked should be no different unless its a D15B which has vtec wires added in, but you just dont need to connect them. The LS ECU will not look for those wires anyways. If your using the eg engine harness you will need to get a throttlebody with the map on it unless you want to extend the wires and drill the firewall map on it from the da.
