Default Swap or Boost?

I have a 94 ls and am wondering if I should boost or do a b18c1 swap. found 1 forsale off a 97 gsr with 45,000 miles on it and it comes complete for 2200. Should I do the swap or buy a maxrev kit?

But for 2200 I think is a hell of a deal for a gsr motor complete. I'm just confused on what to do. Worry about problems with the turbo or go all motor? The only reason why I'm even thinkin about of a swap is because of the price. Need some suggestions and opinions asap.

Just wanted to say that I feel like 2200$ for a complete GSR motor/tranny and everything is a bit fishy...

If that price is legit I's go for it. Stock reliability is hard to beat even if it's slower.

Thats exactly what I'm thinkin. But what would sound better BOV or V-tec? And I can run 5 psi easily and gain more HP, but would it be as reliable?

well, id go boost because its only gonna cost a bit more and the BOV sounds so much better then the VTEC, so go for it, and I dont think that the intake and the exhaust will fit on a gsr. or the intake at least.

Boost the LS... There should be no question here... 2200 for a GSR engine? No sir, the guy selling it is either a jackass, or stole it, or there is someting wrong with it...

Your better off with boost... I got a GSR, engh, nothing special... Boost is the way to go...

BOV and open wastegate sound better that VTEC... I'd go boost... I was actually in your same situation about a year ago... I wasn't sure if I should go boost or LS/VTEC, and thankfully I made the choice to go boost...
