Hey guys,

I wanted to get your input on what suspension setup
you guys would recommend for street use (daily). But I need adjustable
height. I want to keep under $1000.00 and these are some of the kits
I was looking into.

BTW: this is going in a 97 GSR Sedan

 

if u can afford tein then get them

 

TEIN SS. I run them on my teg and the ride is awesome. I had the KYB/GC combo on my old civic and they are not evren compareable to the TEINs.

 

yea, go for the teins if you can fork out the money for them

 

I have teins, and I like them but you can get just as good if not better for the same amount of money. look into Zeal coilovers also, and do some searches.

 

ZEAL I have the B6s and they are AWESOME

but with your question, go with the SS.

 

i love my koni on gc setup because of the versatility.

 

Go with a setup like on my DB8 Tokiko Illuminas, OTS ground control coilovers, and suspension technique's front and rear sway bars. Rides really nice and handles well on full soft, rides pretty stiff (not too stiff) and handles REALLY well (smooth ground, of course). That whole setup cost me about 1000 and I don't regret it at all

I have the Koni coilover system, and love it, but you might like the koni's + GC's better, you can choose softer springs if you like that way. The Koni coilovers are pretty stiff.

 

what are the rates of the ss?

 

I have zeal b6 and they are great, but def not under 1000$...he wants something 1000$ or less...

If handling at the extreme limit is a factor in the decision, then go with the Koni/GC setup.

 

i say why not pay the extra 200 bucks and get the tien ss

I try. But yea, if you have the money, get the Zeals.
