I just dropped my '98 gsr w/some RS*R Down Springs w/stock shocks and it sorta "slammed" it. My question is when I install a stronger performance shock, will it raise it a bit? The drop on the spring is 1.5. Also, what is a good affordable shock out there? Thanks!

 

the aftermarket shocks are not going to raise it, they will just not rebound like a stock one would on a bump. it is a much more solid shock. i would suggest for a drop like that to get koni yellows, tokico illuminas.

yep, and i would not recommend going with tokico blues, or kyb agx's... they are pretty much stock replacements only good for minor drops. hope that helps!

I have Koni Reds. They are affodable and very nice shocks. I have them paired with Skunk2 coilovers and couldn't be happier.
