Hey guys... I was wondering which suspension kit do you guys suggest for a 1999 GS-R??? I was thinking of the Tein SS or Tein Flex... also skunk2 coilovers with KYB shocks... I don't know which one would be good... I want a suspension that will allow me to adjust both height and damper settings... any suggestion would help.... thanks in advance....

I would go with Tein SS over Skunk2 coilovers. I have Skunk2's on mine.

Skunk2 coilovers have a bad rap on HT from what iv seen over the last couple months. im doing reasearch as well and it seems Ground controls are the way to go unless you have money for teins

 

i had the ground controls with koni reds on my car. i found that i liked them much less than just when i had the koni's with H&R race springs. if you are going to get the ground controls make sure you get a better spring rate than the GC special editions come with (too soft). currently i'm days away from getting my Tein SS in and i'll post about them later. good luck

 

if money isnt an issue, get the Apex pro n1 dampers. they are awesome

 

yea i have skunk 2's on my ride. my ride was bouncy *** hell when i drop it to low. i have tokico blues now and its much better.
