if i were to supercharge my type R engine what gains do you think id be getting? I have i/e/h. im just curious to see what itll be.

 

well, its hard to say, you can turn the psi up or down... Also, each engine is different so we really cant tell you. Go to the type r or forced induction forum and look for type rs that are supercharged and you could find a range.

Just to clear this up, you can't turn the boost up or down on a supercharger like with a turbo. There is no wastegate, so there is no possibilty to simply turn it up or down. To up the boost on a supercharger you have to replace the pulley with a smaller diameter one made for your kit.

 

yeah also keep in mind that a TYPE R motor has higher compression too so you would not be able to boost too much with out blowing your motor.......look in the ITR fourm too as well they will be able to tell you more.
