Default Straight pipe

Just woundering if I was to remove my cat and put a test pipe on my 96 integra gsr will i get a check engine light for the second o2 sensor

Yes I believe that you will. If you convert to obd1 then you can do it without issue.

Ah, but it is not lame advice my young padawan. Rather, It is a solution to what the op is trying to do. Obd1 1992-1995 integra wiring harnesses have no secondary o2 sensor.

AND, if you check your local auto registration regulations, you may be able to rock the straight pipe legally if you can register it as a classic or antique vehicle. Im sure this will not be the case in some states.

Thanx alot. I think I'll just throw a hi flow cat on it and a o2 sensor but thanks for the advice and the guy is right about converting it to obd 1 sense it only has 1 ok sensor up by the header an know where near the cat. My 93 hb was run this way

OEM Straight Pipe:
If you have clogged and ruined your cate, don't throw it away.
Remove the secondary O2, gut the cate, buy a stainless steel "angled O2 adapter" on ebay.
Install the adapter, the secondary O2, cate, and plug in the sacondary O2.
No more CEL, but you won't pass the visual part, of an emissions inspection.

Oh nice I never knew that that's a nice trick plus I dont have to smog it since its registered as classic rod
