stereo wiring help!!
yeah most likely that's the problem. take it out and see what's up. if you don't know what's going on. google will usually have wiring diagrams to help ya out
Yeah, they connected it straight up.
Im pretty sure theres a remote wire thats suppose to be connected so when u take the key out the radio turns off.
I would suggest taking it to an audio place and letting them fix it.

i really don't think your need to go that far. yet. take it out and see what's going on first. and if it's something bad you might want to go to a place for help.
my friend check every wires with a volt meter he found 3 wires has power even the ground and cant seem to find where they connect those wires to the battery
Did they "hard wire" it to the car? Or did they use a after market harness, to hook up to the factory? If it is hard wired find the factory harness and put it back on, with solder and that shrink warp stuff. Don't use black tape that stuff falls apart after a few years. Than buy a harness and hook threw that.

If they ran their own wires they could have gone to the fuse box or the battery or the ignition harness. If they had an amp they might have tied into the amp power wire. If your radio power wires are not stock, track them down and remove them. Stock colors for 94 should be: Key power - Yel/Red. Constant power - Wht/Blu. Ground - Black Illumination - Red/Blk. Power antenna - Yel/Grn. RF Spk +/- Red/Grn and Brn/Blk. LF Spk +/- Blu/Grn and Gry/Blk. RR Spk +/- Red/Yel and Brn/Wht. LR Spk +/- Blu/Yel and Gry/Wht.
usually when you install a radio, there should be 3 wires for power source.
1-black (ground - ), 1-yellow (constant 12v power +), and 1- red (accessory +)
hook up the black one to the ground, and make sure the red one is hooked up to the accessory. that would be my first guess. im pretty sure the previous owner / installer hooked up the accessory with the yellow so that it remains on.
