Anyone ever done this? How well does it clean? Any precautions to take (or in my case any things I should make sure the detailing shop is doing)?

I'm thinking about doing this right before I get my ice box. Gonna take new pics!

 

acura dealership does mine when they do maintenance (every 15000). works great and looks even better. i say go for it

 

i'd have to agree acura does an excellent job in steam cleaning the engine...turns out really nice and if you maintain it after that it will stay clean.

 

I do it at work on almost every car I do a 60k on. make sure you don't spray the dist. and dry off the plugs, my b18c1 always gets watter down there.

 

leave the car running or else the dist .cap gets moisture in it ,then it wont want to start.all you got to do is take it out and wipe it .that is the the only problem ...no biggie
