Default starter help

how hard is it to replace a starter on a 90 interga GS. All the shops say it take anywhere from 1.3 hours - 2.5 hours to replace it. that means the labor bill is really high. I am a poor college student in need of help. anyone have any suggestions on what i can do becuase i dont want to pay 300-367 to replace

thank you

yeah, right. more like <15 mins, old one out, new one in. maybe like 20-25 if you don't know what you're doing. it's got 2 bolts into the tranny, a plug, and a ground. i would do it myself if i were you. you really can't mess it up.
