squeaking in the rear area
I've noticed lately that there is an audible squeaking sound coming from the rear of my car. My car does have Neuspeed Sports and I did do the install myself. But I made sure that all the bolts were tightened to spec torque.
Does anyone have ideas as to why this might be happening? Could it be that my bushings are going bad? The roads in pittsburgh haven't been treating my car too well, damn potholes.

If you put your parking break up, your car squeals like a pig. Well atleast my GS-R does. I learned it the hard way by going to the dealer..... haha
The squeaking only happens when I'm going over stutter bumps or when I'm slowly coming out of a driveway...
I was thinking bushings myself. How hard would those be to replace? And how much would it cost?

Is it something in the car, or something like the suspension?
Check the hatch latch. Try putting some electrical tape around it. I had a squeek that was annoying as hell, I put the electrical tape on about 8 months ago and still no problems!

actually, I remember mine squeaking too when it was brand new. It usually happened during the cold season and when I went over speed bumps. I can only think of the bushings at fault or the shocks.
You know what Fooman...now that you mention it, I don't hear the squeaking as much since the weather has gotten warmer. I wonder how the cold would attribute to the noise.
I'll have to pay more attention the tomorrow when I'm driving my car.

Sounds like I problem I'm having. When I come around from a tight turn, as the car's weight shifts back to the middle, I hear a *clunk* in the rear like something is being dropped into position. I have H&R OEs... but nothing seems wrong with the suspension (drives fine). I have no idea what the noise it

wyv...I know what you're talking about
I always thought it was my sway bar but it seems that almost eveyone who has aftermarket springs/shocks/sways has clunks.
Maybe I just installed them wrong and didn't tighten everything??
