A spring on wheel stud???
Alright, for quite some time my FL wheel seem to be the problem of my breaking wheel studs...
Removing one of them lug nuts, I came upon a spring looking thing, it wrapped aroung the stud...
I have never seen this and the others don't have it, this is my 3rd time replacing all 4 wheel studs, and never seen this...
So what was it???

If you have aftermarket wheels, make sure you have hubcentric rings. Sounds like somebody tried to center the wheels the ghetto way. No idea what the spring is for though.

^^Haha damn I didn't even think of that. Who replaced your previous studs? Just wondering if they used the correct size/pitch and correct lug nuts. Something to look into.
