Default spraying header

ok i have searched about this but i need a little more help and in depth info.. I have a header on my integra, its ceramic, im pretty sure its along the lines of OBX... which isnt great but hey its a header. I bought some 1200 aluminum engine spray with ceramic. I just sprayed over em and then after i drove the car for 30 mins it all flaked off. I then found out i have to sand the header first, what grit sand paper should i use to sand them down, is the header "wet sandable?" meaning i can wet them while sanding? after i get the rust off and i spray it, how would i "cure" it? ive heard of this before but im not sure how i would go about curing it.. thanks for your time any input would be appreciated.

Default Re: spraying header (eonflux)

i forget the grit but you do have to scuff it up a bit, to cure it your supposed to bake the ****. i did that once on my turbo manifold and after about 2 weeks it started getting all dark and discolored
