Spoiler mounting points
Right now I have the factory optional spoiler on my 2000 ls integra. I am looking to get the JDM DC ITR Carbon Fiber Spoiler that passwordjdm.com has and in its description is says that "By utilizing the factory mounting points, you can rest assured that this spoiler will fit just like a factory piece." Now does this mean I can use the mounting holes I have for my stock spoiler or are they reffering to a Type r spoiler or do they both have the same mounting holes. thanks
Yea its just like the ITR spoiler only in carbon Fiber. So this means its a no for a direct bolt one, and if so what would I have to do to mount it correctly, just get hole plugs for it?

The base on the ITR spoiler is thinner because it does not have to accomodate the wire harness for the brake light. The normal spoiler has a widened base to cover to wire holes. Check out the picture:

You can see the two extra holes that will not be covered.

It will however it will not have that big dookie hole covered. The only surefire way to do this is to get those stamped holes welded in and the hatch repainted, or, the best route, buy a used hatch the same color as your cars current state, from an RS/LS. One with the INTERNAL third brake light to stay legal, and then, drill your own holes. This way, you avoid the giant wireharness holes, and you get a true 3rd brakelight.
