Default speedometer not working

soo idk what happened i replaced my clutch and after now my speedometer and odometer dont work and i have a check engine light after the car warms up????

..did you maybe just happen to pull the Speedo cable back wile replacing your clutch(curious), and maybe it just unplug from your cluster ?,,,and maybe that's why your speedometer and odometer don't work?...my suggestion is that you check the Speedo cable is plugged in all the way in the back of the cluster and on the other end which is the tranny. GL!....oh for got to add ...Your Check engine light wont come on when your car is warmed up, you need to run it for a a few minutes and eventually it should come on.

yea i checked the plug that is located at the top and its connected and idk how in the world the cluster could have been affected cause nothing was touched in there and what black wire r u talking about

huh?...kinda get the first part...its called speedo cable/wire(believe it has a sensor "speed sensor") it's on top of the tranny', and runs through the fire wall into your cluster.

hmm ok ill well my vtech isnt working either so im guessing thats all intertwined ok well ill have to check everything tomorrow ive unplugged the connection on top of the tranny like 4 times even checked the fuse for it but no luck so far so cluster is me next option

ok sooo i checked it all and guess what problem is still not fixed .... should i try to depin the connector at top of tranny and connect to see if that fixes the problem cause the connector seems to not wanna fit together without force????

or spend 130 bucks on a new speed sensor???

anyone else have any idea
