Default bezel

ok i've tried to pull out my spedometer on my 93 integra gs (da) and the garnish that goes around it won't come off at all! on the left where the fog light, dimmer, and moonroof switch are come off perfect, but the side where the defrost is doesn't want to snap off at all! i've pulled really hard and ended up creasing it a little! is there something that i can do or better yet does anyone have a diagram or pic to show me how/what to do?? thanks! o and im pulling it out because the spedometer isn't working.

i think its number 9 in this diagram

If I remember correctly ther is 5 bolts holding the cover in place 2 are on the bottom to get to this you have to remove the lower cover, ther other 2 are on the top easy to find and the last one is on the far right corner you have to remove the little cover to get to it.

before you started pulling on it did you check the sensor on the transmission because sometimes the sensor that goes to the tranny gets messed up and you can just replace without touching the needle in the dash.does you mileage counter still work or is it the needle that does not work anymore?

anyone correct me if im wrong

check the vss again... because if your spedo and odo both aren't working... then i would check the vss again... just because the wires check out.. doesn't mean that it still can't be messed up.

I don't remember which side it was on but either the left or the right circled area with the arrows to them are little covers that you can pop out and one has a screw behind it and thats what is getting you stuck.
