aight, whats better for my teg, iridium or platinum spark plugs? and whats the difference between iridium and iridium IX???

 

iridium ix is just ngk's name for their plugs; ix plugs are "supposedly the more performance oriented ones." I'd stick with stock zfr5f-11, or 6f for your ls. I've heard that platinums are not so good for the b18b....dunno exactly why though.

 

i have a B18c tho. i mean tegs come stock with ngk plugs, but mine are shot and need to replace them.

 

stick with stock platinum....if you have the extra flow then get the iridiums.

 

how much should you worry about "gapping" the plugs? is this really necessary? or can you just swap in the new ones?

 

don't gap denso iridiums.
