Here's a picture of my spark plug that appears to be leaking. What could the problem be?

the seal underneath the VC thats for the sparkplug????

 

oil shouldnt make it past the rings of the piston in that amount...i dont think you have a leak...you sure you didnt spill something??? because itd be real unsual to see that amount of oil make it up there

 

If that is oil, you could have a blown headgasket...Remove that sparkplug wire and try to remove as much of that oil with some rags...Check the rest of your plugs, because it might not be the only one that is flooded...New headgasket and head resurfacing is needed GL!

 

a blown headgasket wont cause the oil to pass through the seal on the sparkplug over the chamber..

 

Thanks for the replies, I'm replacing the spark plugs and cleaning the area and will let you know what happens

 

the valve cover gasket ring is bad oil is coming in from there. replace all your vc gaskets

 

Remove the sparkplug wires and take picture and post it so that I can take a better look at the problem...
