So I just bought some new ngk vpower plugs and checked the gap on them with a round plug gapper. It said ~.04", also tested with another tool and got about the same. I have read that the stock plug gap for a gsr is .052" so I gapped the plugs. I started the car and it ran like garbage. The car was missing and shaking. I tried putting it down to .045" and it did the same thing. I ended up putting them in gapped at what i got them at, ~.04" and it seems to run fine now. Why is it that my car cannot run the stock gap without missing?
