Default Snow cables on Integra?

Just bought some snow cables for my trip to Tahoe. Anway, anyone here use them? Do they need the black bungy hooks that are required to tighten the snow chains or do they just tighten themseleves?

How much did you pay for them? I just got back from snowboarding and my tires SUCK! I need cables. Is your car lowered?

I would suggest going back to the place you bought it, and ask them if the bungy is required to tighten the chains. Also test fit them to make sure they fit, and give yourself a little practice.

I bought and used snow chains/cables that didn't come with the bungy, but it doesn't sound good when more experienced mountain drivers ask where's the bungy cords to tighten the cables. THe chains didn't fall off though, but it might ease your nerves having it while driving in the snow.

You really should get those rubber bands. I have yet to see a pair of chains or cables that didn't need them.

I bought them for $25 at Walmart. Guess I'm going to need to go buy the rubber hook thing tomorrow before going.....
