Default slowed down


on my way to driving TO the bank today my car was running great and everything was fine...but when i got to leaving the bank i tried accelerating and it seriously took like 30 to get to 45 mph when i pushed the gas pedal all the way down...it runs fine i didnt get a check angine light or anything like that. it just started doing this and it never did before. i havent changed anything on the car either. anyone help?

Try the fuel filter. If you can't get gas, you're not going to go fast.

ebrake off just put premium gas in it...spark plugs maybe...but it sounds like it runs fine...i just dont know how it can go from running fine to running so slow...there is no pickup...and i just went through the drive through...never turned off the car...

oh and the clutch is fine...there is no slippage...

Just drive a short distance after the car's rotors are cold and see if they heat up at all ( by placing your hand near the rotor, not on it! ) and see if it's warm, if it is, then your brakes are engaged.

well if the brakes are engaged then when you lift off the throttle, the nose should dive and it would be pretty obvious.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with the brakes...i already checked...i just dont know why it is not accelerating...

throw a 100 shot on there and see how that does LOL... j/k bro. it does sound like somethign with the brakes but you said you checked them. maybe you didnt let the e-brake all the way down... did you ever pull it at the bank?

nope...i went throught the drive through and never pulled it...i rarely pull it anyway...i would know just how the car feels if the brakes were engaged when i drive it but in this case i know its not the brakes...

Is your oil low? Vtec will not kick in with low oil.

my oil is not low...vtec will kick...the engine runs fine and it will go through all the rpms but when i push the gas pedal all the way down it will speed up like im only pushing it about 1 inch down...
