im ordering a cat for my integra ls and it will be hooked up to a 2 inch header and a 60mm exhaust (2.333in). carsound doesnt make a direct fit for my car so i have to get flanges welded on. other people on hondatech told me to go to kteller8. I did that and now i need to figure out which diameter cat i should get. should i get the 2 inch or the 2.25.

Are you sure? I thought stock was around 2" OD.

 

you're right stock piping is 2". what i meant to say was that with that setup, he will need a 2.25" flange on one end of the cat to match up to the exhaust

 

the 2.25 will bolt up to the 60mm exhaust even though it isnt exactly the same?

 

yes, the 2.25" flange will bolt to a 60mm (2.36") flange. There will be a bottleneck, but most people live with it.
