Default Single or dual bend

Hey guys did a search on this and couldnt find anything on it. What are the major differences between a single and dual bend shifter?

No difference except for the position. The dual bend will be in the factory possition while the single bend will be back a little more. I prefer the factory possition of the shifter so I have a dual bend.
