Default sidemarkers

i got a pair of sidemarkers but i think they are both for either the driver's side or passenger's side, will the sidemarkers still fit and work correctly if i put them on each fender?

flip it over. on one side there should be a metal clip, the other side a grove like thing that will hold the sidemarker into place.

picture of mine before i installed them. notice the metal clip on the right side, and the plastic clip (hard to see) on the left. that is how it should look if it is oem stanley.
