Default Shift points w/ new wheels?

How will my shift points be changed with 16" wheels vs. my current, stock 14"? In my LS, red-line in the gears goes as follows:

1st - 33 mph
2nd - 56
3rd - 84
4th - 110?

Does it increase at a ratio of 16:14, or X1.142, meaning 1st would be at 38 and 2nd at 64? Thanks in advance!

Nothing will be affected because you should get 205/45-16 tires which have the same diameter as stock 195/60-14 tires.

Go by the tach, not the speedometer. Your optimal shift points will remain the same.

Yeah, your speedo will show the same speed no matter what size your wheels are. The speed sensor is on the tranny, so it's independent on how big or how fast the wheels are spinning.

correct, it does read off the tranny, thats why it is off when you get new larger wheels. It will still read the same MPH, but you ACTUAL speed will be a little faster. Ya just have to compensate in your head for it.
