Yeah its gonna smoke a lot if you used the whole bottle. You should change the oil, and then run all the gas out. Smoke should stop.

Thats weird.. I used at least half the bottle through the vac line and the rest in the gas and crank case.. It smoked the most after I let the car sit and even then it went away after I redlined 2nd once or twice...

Im talking about noticable clouds though, as for little puffs they probably continued for a good 5 mins..

we put in the seafoam in the brake booster line and started smoking. we didnt let it sit AT ALL. we just put it in the crankcase and the gas while the car was running. we let it sit at idle for about a good 20 to 30 mins.
changed oil and still smokes.
but the only thing junk about this car is we cant drive it around because it has no insurance yet. so we really cant take it for a test run until we can get the insurance and reg up to date.

yea i helped my friend seafoam his car today. its fucken nasty. he had an mr2 and the hose was really small and hard to work on. so we were retarded and innovative and decided to create our own filter. we got a cup first then we went down to a local drink place and got a straw. poked it through the cup and connected it to the hose. and then seafoamed. lotta white **** came out and i was in the car gassing it so it doesnt die out and stall fucken gas chamber. but anyways ultimate d.i.y. filter

Anyone know if this works the same as the spray in the throttle body carbon cleaner?

Im guessing that you didnt drive it so it wont get rid of all the seafoam as fast.. Dont worry about it im sure it will go away as soon as you get to use the engine a bit under load..

i would change the oil then hit up the freeway for some WOT action...mine created a smoke screen (spyhunter style!) when driving around my neighborhood so I went on the freeway and it eventually went away...

When you feed it into the intake manifold it works or is suppose to work like a top engine cleaner. Cleaning the intake manifold, valves, combustion chamber of excess carbon deposits.

FYI: GM mechanics have this in their bag of tricks. Use plain hot water to decarbonize or steam clean the engine from the inside. Don't hydrolock the motor though.

Luckily, Honda mechanics don't do that

First off Seafoam fouls out your spark plugs, thins out your oil and most of all, O2 sensor. you need to unplug o2 before seafome and replug when finished. You also have to change plugs and oil. Your measurments are also off, the can of seafoam is supposed to be devided into thirds! A third to steam, a third to oil and a third to gas. If you add to much to manifold or oil it can screw **** up. And you shouldnt run the engine with the seafoam in your oil for more than 20 min. max. Engine light came on cuz the O2/seafoam mix. Man, i'm good.

Also, you shouldn't seafoam any car with high mileage.
