when i bought my car the guy told me he got a new fender that was supposedly the same color but just newer paint but to me it looks like a different shade of red

just wanted to know if you guys think its the same red as mine but just newer...i thought it was brighter than the stock color paint but just making sure

Also Milano Red is notorious for fading over the years. Brand new factory Milano (which is a 2-stage paint w/ tinted clear) will look significantly different than old and faded Milano.

Yup. There is no ONE color for Milano Red, for example. Over time, with different levels of exposure to the elements (sunlight, etc), one car may change color more than another. That's why you can't just paint by color code. Good body shops blend the paint so that it matches exactly the paint color that's already on the car, rather than the way it looked when it left the factory. This is pretty much true with all colors on all cars, not just the Milano Red on the Integra.
If it really bothers you, take it to a body shop for repainting, and they can match it to the color on the rest of your car. Otherwise, live with it the way it is...

i do this **** all day. there no way in hell your gonna color match red in one panel. u would have to blend the hood, door and bumper with it. your looking at about $1000 at a decent shop. again, red is very very hard to match and that the only way its gunna work
red never likes like to match because it fades very easily, your best bet would be to try to find a used milano red fender to match the color of your car
thank god I have a black car

Hey, the post doesn't make any sense anyway, with all those juvenile chatroom abbreviations. He sounds like my eight-year-old nephew when he sends e-mail to his third-grade classmates...

i garauntee you its not the same color. the integra came in both of those, they're 2 seperate colors. i bet the old owner just bought the fender used and never repainted it.
You mean 13 year old paint is going to be faded? Shocking considering most paints dont match after 2-3 years...and red is no worse then any other color. Black is very rough because it fades extremely fast, white turns yellow and milano red does just what is shown here.

i've seen better painters that can mix alot closer than the person that painted that fender... looks way off. So off it looks like two different red color type. Also gsr dood is right... if someone comes into a body shop and needs a tailgate painted off a truck, the shop ends up sanding off the bed and the door so it blends together.
Thats just Milano Red for you... Fades + I think there were a couple of slightly different variations from the factory through the years.. Could be wrong.... Over the summer my driver side was exposed to sun and turned pink...
