What happens when running either or?

Any HP gained or loss from this too?

You'll lose power from both.

I thought you gained power from running leaner and leaner... up until the point it goes BOOM! so its usually tuned not to be too lean, because we want the motor to last.

true...but if it's too lean it's going to detonate and just hesitate, which will not yield good power.

Turbo cars target AF ratio= 12.0
NA cars target AF ratio 13.5 to 14.0


And if a motor is EXTREMELY rich, it can ruin the pistons/cylinder/sleeves. Thats a rediculous amount of fuel, or very very little timing.
