Default Rubber or Polyurathane?

Not too sure what to get. Of course I am leaning towards cheaper, rubber. Plus this is just my DD. Thoughts? Thanks!

For what? Bushings I assume, but which bushing?

Poly is stiffer and last longer but does tend to be noisy

Oh yes bushing. Was looking into poly. Do you know how much more it is for poly?

Poly doesn't last longer.

wtf misinformation alert...

Poly is less durable in general (although quality varies) and can be made stiff or hard just as rubber can. PIC bushings are 85A durometer rated which is higher than many poly bushings on the market, and it's less harsh for a given durometer rating.

IMO the only advantage of poly is price, although some people prefer it because it lets arms pivot more freely.

Do you want less or more movement/noise. That would be the answer/question- rubber if dd

It depends. OEM or regular rubber, or hard rubber like PIC or Hardrace?

Hard Rubber

I always upgrade to polyurethane because I tend to be hard on my cars, less movement= less broken axles lol

I never saw the hard rubbers before, but I will look into those now. Any other brands besides hardrace and PIC?

For a DA your option might be limited to just Hardrace.

Oh dont mind the name. I have a DB 91 also...but I don't think that would make much of a difference. I still might just get regular rubber if I can't find any.

Full energy suspension on my 91 hatch. Torqued everything to spec by honda manual. Loading the suspension when needed to and I didn't have a single issue. Lowered on neu-speed coilover n tokico struts with a b series swap. Proper installation is important

There's not really a proper installation technique for urethane outside of greasing where applicable. Since the urethane isn't bonded to either the inner or outer sleeves you don't have to load the suspension before torquing down.
