can anyone tell me if the boot off of a RSX will fit a DA(91)? or if i would have to cut the boot or not. i have been thinking about getting a new shifter because i dont like the DA one but i want a boot to cover up the shift lever so a boot that would clip into the shiftknob... any help would be appreciated

 

Which shifter are you getting?? To my knowledge, a RSX shifter isn't going to work. With almost any short shifter, the stock boot works fine.

 

i dont know what the rsx **** is like exactly, but if it's similar to a 99-00 civic si, you can get that boot to clip on.

 

probably just the 5 speed shifter, i dont have a short shifter or anything, im just talking about the RSX **** and the boot, not the actual shift lever. i mainly need to know if the boot fits into the DA center console without modifications

 

rsx **** will fit on your DA make sure to purchase the optional 5speed **** from the rsx. as for the shiftboot save yourself money and buy the integra type-r(DC2) shiftboot.

 

will the DC2 shift boot clip onto the RSX ****, thats my main deal because i dont want to see the DA's actual shift lever and thats why i wanted to buy a boot and **** that would clip together, but still look OEM to the unknowledged person.
