Rota's on DC2
ight I have found a set of black rota slips for $300 with decent tires and am somewhat considering it, but I was just wondering if anyone hear has some pics of a white DC2 with some rotas on it so i can get somewhat of an idea of what it would look like.
You should look in the Appearance Forum but.....
I never use the chassis codes....but if I remember, the DC2 is the 3rd gen coupe, right? Well...hope so, cuz here are my pics.
Surprisingly, I have the "Bronze" rota slipstreams. They look black to everyone else. Only upon close inspection, can you see small bronze "flakes" in it. The Black you're speaking of is a little shinier than mine. But since these pics aren't taken with the best camera, they will just be called black.
Yes, the bumper is ricey. No, I don't have it anymore. No I don't even own the car anymore. Don't make fun cuz I made over 400whp.

I miss my Integra.

they make copies of popular rims.
thats like people on honda-acura.net giving props to APC.
haha.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes, they make copies. But they make good quality copies. They are inexpensive, pretty light, and they look good. If you want to spend $800something or more on one Spoon rim, go ahead, I sure as hell am not.
APC is not a quality item.

That's a stupid comment. So you modify your car based on everyone else? If you like Slips, buy them and use them. If you don't, don't. Who cares what other people like/have/want?

cast iron? forged aluminum?
can they take a hit? or dent up like crazy when u hit a small pot hole.</TD></TR></TABLE>
They are made just like any generic wheel and are strong enough for most people. Yes, they can take a hit. All wheels will dent/scratch if you hit something hard enough. I don't take that into account when purchasing wheels. I don't think to myself, "Well, I plan on hitting potholes and curbs, so....."
If, in the off chance I do, then I'd much rather replace a $80 wheel than a $800 one.
Basically, I would love to have genuine Spoon, Mugen, etc wheels. I just don't have the money. To some, it matters, to me it doesn't. I'd rather spend the money on quality go-fast parts then a part that's constantly in contact with the ground and getting dirty.
