Resetting ECU
Alright, so I ordered my intake and I know I have to reset my ECU so it can adapt it. Question is, if I disengage the negative battery connection, will my alarm just go off??
You don't have to disconnect the battery. Just pull the radio/backup (the backup stands for ECU backup) fuse in the underhood fusebox for 10 seconds while the engine is off. You will have to reset your radio after this though.

Let the engine warm up to normal operating temp, then go out and beat on it, then shut it off.
