I need some help on replacing my damaged aerial. When i bought the car i noticed that the aerial doesn't go all the way down and makes an annoying sound when it goes down.

Anyway, i've purchased a new one cheap from a friend at Honda and need to know how to replace the old one. Do i need to pull off the interior panel to get to it? I've already unscrewed the rubber seal on the outside and had a look but you can't pull the antenna up.

Do i have to go to the trouble of removing the seats and all to take the interior panel off?

Sorry about the long post but i need some advice...!
