Default Replacement for 1G dash

Anyone swapped a later generation teg dash, or in fact ANY other dash into a 1G? Mine got housed by the previous owner, and I'd like to replace it with something a little more modern looking.

I am pretty sure that later generation Integra dashes won't fit. You would have to trim the **** out of it and custom fabricate it. I believe there is a company called Vibrant who makes a universal dash. I only seen an add for one, I have never seen it in a car and have no experience with it. Hope this helps, if not, then bring your dash to a interior shop and have them redo the thing.

Any chance a 92 Civic dash might fit?

Even if the teg's dash was in great shape, it would still be an 89 dash........

but the g1 dash is pretty modern looking as it is already for its time. just take a look at a 86 corolla and u tell me. u should be able to find another g1 dash easily in a junkyard, dime a dozen now.

Try the vibrant performance one. http://www.vibrantperformance.com Search through their product guide and check it out. It might be something for you to consider. I personally don't think 1st gens are bad looking cars from the outside or inside. You could bring your dash to an interior specialist and have them fix it or reskin it in something of your choice.

Thanks for the advice guys. Checking out the options now. I could probably redo the dash myself if I really wanted to, and I know it would be less work than swapping in a new dash, but as I said... I'm not really feeling the stock dash at all.

It's hard to fix personal preference
