Sup guys. I'm trying to take my ecu out of my 96 LS. I have the kick panel out, I took out the 2 10mm's off of the gold cover - but I can't get the gold cover out of the way.

How do you take this bad boy off? I fucked around with it for about 10 minutes but couldnt see if there's something else holding it down near the front of the car. There's also 2 green clips on there and I don't know what those are for.

I know I sound like an idiot and am probably forgetting something stupid but I don't wanna mess anything up/pull wires out. Thanks!

 

there are more than 2 nuts holding it down. i think 5. there are two on the left, two on the right, and one on the bottom. then it should come off. the green clips are just for the wires.

 

Okay got it. There were 4. Had to move the carpet a little bit

 

Yeah there should be 2 bolts and 2 stud/nuts.
