Removing AC
so i'm trying to figure how to remove it by myself and i first unscrew the AC lines (in the pic below). then that refigerant or whatever it is burst out like NOS. so i close it off as soon as possible with that **** spraying on me.
my question is...is it suppose to do that or was i suppose to shut something off first? and do i need to replace that stuff and sprayed out?

your refregerant sprayed out, that needed to come out of the system....lol, but in the way you did it was illegal
. if you are still working on it be carefull and try not to get near the ground for a while since its a heavy gas and tends to stay near the ground for a while.

haha...my buddy did that once to his teg...he was sniffing that stuff for a while as he was pulling out the A/C. i think he go HIGH off that **** cause he was acting crazy.
u wont need to replace the refrigerant if your taking it out. best to let a proffessional do it.

The proper way to do it is to take it to a shop where we have a maching to evacuate the refridgerant out of your system. There is anywhere from 25-150 psi in your a/c lines.
If you dont want to do that, you can crack a line open and let it vent to the atmosphere but this is highly illegal and the fumes are toxic.
I recommend the first choice.
