You could try to get your car legalized.. as crazy as that sounds.

 

what's your plan genius?

 

put everything back to stock, call the number that was issued (it should be on the little sticker at the back of the ticket). then set up an appointment. once that's done, go there and let them look at your car, let them smog it, etc etc. after you pass it, take it to court and show the judge. grand total should be less than 100 dollars.

He's done something illegal to his car, thus the ref ticket.

 

ALL YOU COULD DO IS EITHER PUT IT BACK TO STOCK OR PAY THE FINE. WHICH IS LIKE 600 DOLLARS. THATS WHAT I DID. ;]

 

well we done this before but i dont know if it will still work
its my car but my friend was driving it so he has to take my car to the referee , so before i go to the referee ima give my teggy as a gift to a friend , so he can call the referee and tell him he doesnt have the car anymore that its givin away .. i even asked the cop about it too he said well sell it and u dont have to worry about it .. then once it clears it for him he give my car bak as a gift to me .. it worked once .. hope it works again ..

 

Or move to Oregon where they dont care unless you live near portland

I've heard of people doing this. But I don't know, kinda sounds too good to be true, and I'm sure the law is slowly catching on to this.

 

Last time I checked you could only give a car away as a gift once per year.
