Radiator
My gf's 97 RS automatic have a coolant leak. Here are my options:
Can I put an ITR radiator on a 97 RS auto? Are all integra radiator the same?
or
should I just get the metal one at radiatorbarn? Is there a different between auto and manual radiator?
Also, what else should I replace along with the radiator? hoses? valves...etc?
Thanks

if her car is auto, you need to get an auto rad. the itr one will not work. the auto has an extra bung for the tranny and i would suggest getting new hoses and rad cap while your at it also.
Radiator Barn or 1888radiators (sp?) or whatever are actually the same companies...their stuff is good and cheap!
The manual radiator / automatic were the same when I ordered...the difference is the auto uses two fittings on the bottom that circulate to cool the fluid. You can just leave these as is for a manual install (they circulate to a different compartment of the radiator).

Tweakmeister,
So there is only one kind of radiator at radiatorbarn and depending on auto and manual, then I'll just use the fitting according.
Does it comes with the fitting?
as far as hoses, is there difference on oem and autozone's?
thanks

Get the one for your application (in case they've changed things)....the radiator I got (for manual) just had a couple of nipple fittings at the bottom.
besides replacing the upper and lower coolant hoses, do i need to replace the ATF hoses (for tranny cooling, I assume?)

shouldn't need to replace tranny lines, just inspect them. as for the liquid gasket for the drain bolt, im not sure what you mean. the drain plug in the radiator has an o-ring, and your new radiator will come with a new plug anyway.
