RAD
I had to replace my old rad today.
so i got the rad, my old one was for the auto tranny, but it shouldnt matter as the holes were plugged.
when i installed the new one, first thing was that the radiator pipes where you connect the upper and lower hoses are much thinner then my old rad pipes.
so the hoses are too big. i tied it down with a clamp, but i am not sure if it is safe like that, as i am scared that it might slide off.
the second concern is that my old fan does not allign with the new rad. i could only screw in one screw....i did not want to put the new fan in, since it has different plug as my old one and i did not feel like rewiring all the wires.
my question is did the guy sell me the G3 rad as G2?
or there is something else i am missing?
does anyone had this experience?
any suggestions, answers are apreciated.
thanks.

Bring it back man, Say the fitment wasnt as it was on the OEM one. No harm in asking and its that guys mistake. If the inlets and outlets seem smaller, it may be for a D series, which i doubt. GL man.
thanks man.
i will come back tomorrow.
the thing is i already installed it.
so i really dont feel like reinstalling my old rad and going through this BS again.
but i guess i am going to have to.
i dont think that d series fits in DAs tho.
