quick timing question

Default quick timing question

If I already have my intake cam gear at +2, and I advance my timing via the distributor will I have to worry about piston to valve contact? or anything else? would I gain anything?TIA

well, i don't think you will have a problem... how do you like the crower 403's? i have a 98 LS and im thinking about 403's maybe next winter.... we'll see, let me know what you gained from them. PM me cause i probably won't go back in this forum, thanks
