Quick Question

I have a 97 LS with a 97 B20b block. im getting CEL number 54 which is:
54
96-98 Civic
97-98 CRV
94+ Integra CKF Sensor (Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

now i noticed on the LS block there was a plug connector by the crank pulley that wasnt on the b20 block. is this a big deal and is anyone else having this problem? im using the LS wiring harness and LS ecu... someone please help me out.

Was your car running well before you found this?

Re: Quick Question (2SLO)

your getting that because your LS ecu thinks there should be a sensor there. as for your engine i don't know if it will cause problems, it probably will. I would suggest getting an ecu that is compatible with the b20 or even if you could find a piggyback that can lie to the LS and make it think everything is ok, that would work.
