Ive seen on some sites that in a gsr Vtec kicks in at 4400rpm and some other sites it sed 5900rpm...?????????? explain this sumbody!!!

VTEC on a stock GS-R engages at 4,400 RPM, the Intake Manifold switches from the long runners, to the shorter runners at 5,800 RPM.

I beleive the word switch is the wrong word for it. on a stock gsr, 4,400 is when vtec engages then at 5,800, the gsr manifold will open up both runners.
