Default Pulling transmission??

So I have somewhat of a noob question but my buddy has just pulled his engine on his 97 acura integra ls. He is attempting to swap in a new crate ls engine. My question is what do you have to do to get the transmission off of the engine (the engine and transmission have been pulled as one).? He has all bolts pulled that seem to be bolting the transmission to the engine but it seems to be stuck on. No movement what so ever from it.

Thanks

Make sure that the dust shield is off too. It doesn't really look like it's holding it together, but it does, and it won't move.

yeah make sure you take the long starter bolt off, its the one on the bottom of the starter. Make sure the L bracket is off and 1 bolt that is near where the rear mount goes is out.

Thanks you guys. I went over and looked at it and pointed out to him that he needed to take the starter bolt off. He told me over the phone he had done it. Guess I should have evaluated the situation before posting but thanks again for the help.
