Pulley for B18 - Form>Function
I have a b18b in my EG hatch and I would like to upgrade my pulley system since my crank pulley is damaged.
anyways, can anyone recommend a pulley for my car that looks good at a good price and strong enough to function properly. I dont really care to spend extra money on a performance which is only going to give me minimal gains at best.
I am looking for something like this. What do you guys think

make sure you get one with a harmonic damper (the rubber that is balanced inside it)
most aftermarket ones dont have that and are cheap light weight ones that will gain some power, but give you problems later on when your not balanced correctly

just an FYI, it's VTEC, not vtech...the former is a Honda engine technology, the latter is a telephone brand...
Anyway, look into Unorthodox Racing pulleys or AEM Tru-Power pulleys...with something like this, I would never cheap out on it, because of how fast they are turning and that they're connected to the engine. Poorly constructed pulleys could be out of balance, causing abnormal wear and tear on your engine internals, and could possibly be constructed too weak.
rkrone makes a good point with the rubber piece...in the stock crank pulleys, there is a small rubber ring in it that helps absorb vibrations coming from the engine. I'm actually not aware of an aftermarket lightweight crank pulley that has that. Results of not having one will mean you'll be getting a little more than normal wear on engine internals such as the bearings.
If you're looking for the looks, just get a power steering pump pulley...that's the only one you can easily see in the engine bay...Lightweight alternator pulleys are pretty much useless, as the stock piece is so small to begin with (not much weight savings at all to be had there).

The jdm civic type r pulley will fit and it looks very nice...not too ricey!!! Also, it is very light, which is a big plus!!!
Here is an example for sale right now on Ebay:

It is important to note that if you kept power steering and ac when you did the swap into your eg, this pulley does not have ribs for those accessories, therefore you should only get one if you do not have either of these!!!

thanks guys for the replies. I need the pulley that has the ps and ac belt connected to it. As of right now, the one that is in there is damaged, which is the reason why I am looking for a new one. Since it needs to be replace, I would prefer to have some kind of upgrade instead of getting another oem one.
