I was hearing from some people that i talked to that the ls/vtec is bad news and that u have lots of problems with ur engine once you get that conversion done..
is that true or is that just when somon does it that doesnt know what there doin..
if i got some one to do it that knows whats there doin will i have problems with it?

Sorry to say, but most people talk outta their ***. There is nothing wrong with LS/VTEC as long as it's built right!
I'm speaking from experience when my best friend had his Integra with ls/vtec with high compression (forgot exact number ) and putting out 175whp, 130ft/lb tq on a completely stock 1st gen b16a head (except for ITR intake manifold) and car was never tuned. The motor was strong for all 28k miles he put on the car, with NO problems. Car was then sold to a HT member who later emailed him saying how great the car/motor was and wanting to know who built it because he was interested in another.
BTW, motor was put together by Prospeed Performance in So Cali.
