problem with speed.
ok it has something to do with the speed sensor. like on regular roads its not noticeable but on freeway it is. my odometer is off not sure by how much. but i know that it says im going about 70 and im getting passed up.by the fast lane and keeping up barely with the slow. also i know that when your at 80mph your around 4k rpm or so or around it. so i drive at 80 and start passing people up the slow lane and keeping up with the fast.
i got the car last year didnt really start driving it until now because i had another car
help?!

Follow your friend down an open stretch of highway 280 by the Belmont area(?) and have him go a certain MPH like 60mph. Then follow at the same speed and see what your needle is showing. It may just be off. Or maybe try it on Skyline when it's clear of cars and use your hands free cell to check with your friend's speed.
If the speedo is off then you'll know by how much and can gauge the speed from there.
Good luck and be careful!

I used to live in the fog in Pacifica by Daly City with the rest of the filipinos until I moved to HOT @SS Dallas for a job!
Good luck with the speedo. If it's just off you can pull the needle off but you have to be very careful. I used a fork to support the back and pull the needle straight up very slowly and carefully. But if you break it call Dan Phan or Ken at http://www.rcrewracing.com. I think they're by South SF now. They may have a spare speedo or junked speed with a good speedo gauge they can sell you.
Let me know how it goes!
